Queensland Stay On Your Feet® - Toolkit Phase 3 Community Progress Meetings
Community progress meetings
The aim of community progress meetings is to review how community action plans for each area are progressing. These meetings focus on sharing information about local initiatives, celebrating success and reviewing progress on implementing community action plans [100].
During the Queensland Stay on Your Feet Wide Bay/Burnett trial project, a ‘traffic light’ rating system was used to help identify which strategies were progressing well (green), slowly (orange) or not at all (red). The traffic light rating helped to identify what was working and what was not working. It was a simple and visual way to view the progress on the community action plans. A community progress report was developed for each area, and shared with the wider community through updates in the trial project’s newsletter.
