Investigation into endoscopy services Redland Hospital
On 14 May 2020 the Director-General Queensland Health commissioned an independent Health Service Investigation to investigate concerns raised about the standard of endoscopies undertaken by two Surgeons and the clinical management of bowel related procedures at Redland Hospital, Metro South Hospital and Health Service (HHS), between 2008 to 2018.
The Investigators delivered the final report to the Director-General as required under the Hospital and Health Board Act 2011.
