Internal and collaborative research
To conduct research at Pathology Queensland, either internally or collaboratively, you must follow these steps:
- apply to conduct research
- obtain ethics approval
- obtain research governance approval to conduct research.
Reporting obligations
In addition to your reporting obligations to the ethics and research governance offices, you are required to inform the Research Office about any publications or presentations resulting from the research.
Author affiliation
Author affiliation is to be reported appropriately. Where an author’s primary or secondary affiliation is with a Pathology Queensland department, authors must cite their affiliation with Pathology Queensland, the relevant department and the specific site/laboratory where research is being conducted, for example Pathology Queensland, Microbiology, Townsville OR Pathology Queensland, Chemical Pathology, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
