• drinking water—contact your local council or water service provider
• recreational water (oceans, lakes, ponds, dams, public swimming pools)—contact your local council
• algal blooms—refer to the harmful algae page on the Queensland Government website.

Radiation sources

You can report radiation health and safety risks to Radiation Health or to the Australia Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA).
