Commonwealth funding of medicines

Queensland Public Hospitals have access to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, allowing hospitals to claim reimbursement from the Commonwealth for PBS-listed medicines dispensed to:

• outpatients
• patients on discharge
• day-admitted chemotherapy patients.
