Healthcare workers and students
All new employees, including agency nurses, who will be working in clinical areas and students undergoing clinical placement in a Queensland Health facility must be assessed for their risk of tuberculosis (TB) using the relevant TB risk assessment process.

Students
Prior to commencing a clinical placement in a Queensland Health facility, Students must complete the TB risk assessment process as outlined below, in cooperation with their education provider's placement coordinator.
