Breastfeeding resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
Breastfeeding information and support should be shared in a culturally appropriate way, using resources, language and information that best suit the individual. It is best practice to work closely with a health worker when engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. A health worker can help to build rapport and provide valuable cultural insight.
