Medical students
RCH provides opportunities for medical students to perform clinical electives in various components of paediatric medicine. These placements may include general paediatrics, emergency medicine, paediatric specialties, paediatric surgery and specialty paediatric surgery. Student placement in the neonatal unit at RBWH can also be arranged.

Queensland Medical students can apply directly to the RCH for clinical electives positions. However, interstate and overseas students must arrange clinical electives through the University of Queensland.
