MASS - Medical Grade Footwear

            

A trial is being conducted from 1st November 2008, whereby public sector podiatrists are approved as prescribers for medical grade footwear to MASS eligible clients.  The continuation of this trial is subject to monitoring and review. 

 

NEW TEMPORARY SUBSIDY INCREASE LEVELS FOR APPLICATIONS RECEIVED ON OR AFTER 1 FEBRUARY 2010 (to be reviewed on a monthly basis) - Refer to the medical grade footwear summary for further details (updated 30 April 2010)

 

STATEWIDE PRESCRIBER PROCEDURE MANUAL - Refer to the General Information and updated Medical Grade Footwear Sections in the MASS Statewide Prescriber Procedures Manual for specific eligibility criteria and the medical grade footwear application process flow chart.
