Minimum Data Set (MDS) Publications

   

Minimum Data Set (MDS) publications contain information about the Home and Community Care (HACC) program, particularly in relation to its clients, their characteristics and the services they received.  The information of HACC services provided in all states and territories is summarised by financial year.

Australian Government

The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing has compiled HACC MDS Statistical Bulletins from state and territory HACC programs to determine the national levels of service care provision, for planning, for policy and for research.

Queensland Government

The Queensland Annual Bulletin is a broad overview of HACC clients and service delivery across Queensland for a financial year.

The HACC MDS fact sheet contains key dates, contact details and reminders for service providers.

The Business Summary Rules provide a summary of business rules that are applied within the various subsystems of HACC MDS version 2.
